Golf ~ There are over 20 golf courses in Co. Kerry enough for the most enthusiastic golfer. Close to Kenmare are the Ring of Kerry Golf Club, above, and Kenmare Golf Club.
Climbing ~ Climbing is available locally with instructors and guides from the Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre.
Walking ~ Explore the Kerry Way, Ireland's premier walking route or try one of the local routes. Maps, guides and information available locally.
Water Sports ~ Sailboards, dinghies and day boats are available, with qualified instruction, from the Gybe-Ho sailing school.

Horse Riding ~ Equestrian centres provide pony trekking tours throughout the area.
